Patiently teaching the basics and making riders feel comfortable and confident
Cricket may be the easiest horse in the barn to spend time with. He is happy to stand on the crossties for as long as someone is willing to groom, fuss over, and give him attention. In the paddock, he is affectionately known as the “Mayor of Paddock 1” because he gets along with everyone and quietly helps keep the group in line.
With extensive trail experience and training in both English and Western tack, Cricket is a dependable partner for beginner through intermediate riders. He is patient, forgiving, and excellent at teaching the fundamentals of riding and everyday horsemanship. Cricket prefers a sensible workload over strenuous schooling, making him especially well suited to riders who value confidence, consistency, and a relaxed partnership.
