Cinny

16-year-old Mustang/Quarter Pony Cross · 13 hh · Chestnut Mare

Small but full of heart, Cinny is an affectionate, energetic pony who loves having a job and is always eager to come in and work.

Her enthusiasm for work, kind nature, and honest, energetic ride

Cinny is the smallest horse in our school program, but she brings an enormous amount of heart to everything she does. Adopted through a rescue, she still carries a few scars from her earlier life, yet she has remained trusting, affectionate, and eager to meet every person who comes her way.

Although Cinny was not started under saddle until her teens, you would never know it from her enthusiasm for work. She is often the first mare waiting at the gate and is happy to come in for nearly any rider. Under saddle, she has quick, energetic gaits but remains honest and well behaved. She enjoys jumping small fences and crossrails, though she is happiest when the questions stay within her comfort zone.

Cinny loves being part of the action and especially enjoys having a stall with a view of the indoor arena so she can watch everyone else work. Her long, beautiful mane is another signature feature—even if it regularly collects enough fairy knots to keep her people busy brushing.
